GLENMORANGIE COGNAC CASK FINISH - Bottle - 70 cL

This magnificent Glenmorangie spent four years in casks that had previously been used to produce Cognac after spending nearly a decade in ex-Bourbon oak.

The nose is deliciously spicy with unique wood and dried citrus peels and has a true golden colour. The sweet, fruity spirit is softly woven with subtle liquorice and tobacco notes by the palate's expertly judged oak influence. The mouth-filling finish, which is enjoyable to drink, provides additional proof of the master distiller's talent with the endlessly revolving interaction of nuts and fruits. After a straightforward steak-frites, I'll be sharing my with several pals.
