Who is Pero Niño?

After having a long and successful career in the sales industry, our founder wanted to combine his years of experience with something he had a true passion for and hence Pero Niño was born!

But who is Pero Niño? Other than just sounding like a catchy name, we love his background story. Pero Niño (1378-1453) was a Castilian Privateer for 'Henry III The Sufferer' of Spain, leading battles during their Mediterranean and Atlantic Campaigns. He was later crowned The Lord of Cigales, his hometown - bringing great wealth to what became one of the finest wine-producing areas in Spain.
